        Diamond House is a steel structured, concept tiny kit house design thought for a harsh, cold climates and locations such as foothills, mountains and ski centers. With the diamond burried into ground like shape, it offers a different and estatic way of dealing with the severe winter conditions and snow load.

        The house contains an open space living area with a lounge and a kitchen with a big bathroom on the ground floor. A space above the diamond shaped structure was used to create a private bedroom was created on the mezzanine floor which looks down to kitchen area by the atrium. Sides of the front and back facades were designed as fixed glazing units to maximize the sunlight into the building and huge glass doors were created into the garden to the southern facade. Because of the unorthodox shape of the house, there were also furnitures designed to fit the houses architectural form.

Mezzanine Floor / Bedroom

        A stair like wardrobe designed to fit the slope of the roof and the glazing in the bedroom. Top parts were used as shelves to put an emphasis on the stair-like form and better functionality.
